Project Description
This project scope included a major expansion of Xerox’s existing Wilsonville, Oregon facility. The goal was to upgrade the facility to enable Xerox to release a new line of ink technology which would revolutionize the way small to medium offices use color printing on a daily basis. The expansion included renovation of 10,000 square feet of building space for the new production equipment. Production equipment included new storage tanks, process piping systems, mechanical equipment, electrical, controls, and material handling equipment.
Service Provided
- Fabrication and installation of 1200 lineal feet of jacketed stainless steel high purity piping systems
- Fabrication and installation of 1500 lineal feet of carbon steel hot oil piping
- Installation of five jacketed process storage tanks
- Installation of three miscellaneous process tanks
- Installation of new hot oil units
- Installation of new process pumps, and filtration systems
- Installation of pneumatic conveyors
- Fabrication and installation of new pipe bridge and miscellaneous supports
- Fabrication and installation of miscellaneous small bore utility systems
- Subcontract management of new electrical switchgear and underground feed system
- Subcontract management of miscellaneous systems including fire protection, HVAC, floor coatings and others
- Installation of building secondary containment systems
- Commissioning and start-up support
