Project Description
Complete refurbishment of the existing Port bulk facility to handle approximately 500,000 tons of cement per year. The new terminal will include a 350 foot diameter 60,000-ton storage dome, docking facilities, conveying equipment, and loading bays for both truck and rail service.
Service Provided
- 10,000 yds of structural concrete formed and poured.
- 700 lf- 35 ft tall X 24 inch thick circular wall formed and poured
- 1.2 million lbs of rebar installed
- 400 lf of airslides fabricated and installed
- Two 600 ton cement silos fabricated and installed
- Three new air compressors
- Six new 600cfm air blowers
- 10,000 lf of compressed air and process piping. Fabricated, and installed
- 300 tons of heavy structural Iron fabricated and erected
- Electrical- installed 4 separate Plc systems, 150 KV transformer and all associated equipment
- Six saferack access systems
- Rebuilt 1,500 lf of conveyors, belts, structures steel, drives, skirts boards, and wind covers
- Installed a 220 diameter dome fluid bed system.
- Two truck automated ticketed load out facility
- Railcar load out system
- On site engineering support
- Commissioning and start-up support
