PORTLAND, Ore. – One of the West Coast’s leading full-service industrial general contractors and fabricators is expanding its presence in the state of Washington. Greenberry Industrial, which provides mechanical, structural, and civil construction and fabrication services, announced today that it is opening a new fabrication facility in Vancouver, Wash., to better serve its growing client base that require large tanks, pressure vessels, modules, bridge steel and large structural components.
“Opening a large fabrication facility with deep water access means our customers can better utilize our services and streamline transport needs,” said Greenberry Industrial President Jason Pond. “In addition, we expect a local presence to pave the way for new opportunities in international markets, as well as fabrication of large vessels, modules, specialized large structural steel components and major bridge fabrications requiring AISC certification with Fracture Critical Endorsement.”

Greenberry’s new fabrication facility, its third on the West Coast, is conveniently located near the Portland International Airport and along the Columbia River for direct water access. The facility has rail lines and a waterfront dock capable of handling heavy loads.
Strong West Coast Presence
Based in Corvallis, Ore., Greenberry is no stranger to the industrial fabrication market, with more than 35 years working throughout the Northwest. Recently, the company has been fabricating and assembling oil drilling equipment for the North Slope of Alaska, and large structural components for dams along the Columbia River. The new Vancouver facility will enable Greenberry to further support these efforts.
Greenberry is known for its industry-leading safety record which currently stands at more than 2 million work hours over a six-year period without a lost time accident, and a low Experience Modification Rate of 0.62.
In addition, as one of Oregon’s Top 150 private companies, Greenberry Industrial has been recognized for several high profile projects by the Daily Journal of Commerce, Northwest Construction, Northwest Consumer Construction Council, ENR, and Oregon Business Magazine.
