Training
We Value Training
An impeccable safety record doesn’t just happen – we work for it by placing a great deal of emphasis on training our employees. Employees are not only trained in general first aid (CPR, AED) but also job site regulation training, such as crane rigging and hand signaling. Whenever a regulation is updated, training teams are immediately gathered and briefed on the new policies. A multitude of resources and training media are used to enhance the learning experience and help employees expand their expertise and safety knowledge.
A program called SAFESTART drives all training. Employees are trained to understand and recognize that a current state of their well-being can lead to errors that cause injuries and accidents. Upon recognition, adjusting their state can counter potential critical errors, thereby preventing accidents. Employees also use Critical Error Reduction techniques to reduce these events even further.
Training is provided, and monitored, by all of our many field and shop safety coordinators or our corporate training director. Greenberry’s training director has nearly 35 years of construction and maintenance experience and is an NCCER Master Trainer and Construction Site Safety Master Instructor.
